    Location (Google Maps): Nottawasaga Bluffs Conservation Area, Blue Mountains Section. Parking area at km 21.9 Map 22. There is a small parking area off 15/16 Sideroad provided by the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority. A parking fee is charged.

    Pace: Medium – 3 to 4 km/hour
    Terrain: Moderate – some hills and/or some poor footing
    Distance: 12 km

    Description

    From the parking area off  15/16 Sideroad, we will loop through the trails using the main trail  and side trails, about 12 km. Please note: PARKING FEES APPLY. Bring water, snacks, (poles  optional). Questions?     Directions: From Airport road head east on 5 Sideroad. Drive for 600 metres. The parking lot is on the left/north side.

    Description

    Insects Preparing for Winter – should “we” cocoon, hike, fly away, bury ourselves in the sand, or give up? Expect to observe lots of insect action along parts of the main Trail and Hockleycrest Side Trail.
