Description
Join us on this Discovery Hike along the Frank Holley Loop by Fossil Glen - we'll take our time, and see what we can find. We'll meander by some large crevices, past fossil-rich rocks and an old homestead, and will hopefully spot some spring wildflowers. Free 'Boots on the Trail' badges are available to youth 18 and under.
As we'll be taking our time, this hike is suitable for families, new hikers, and anyone wanting a more leisurely hike. All ages are welcome. We'll likely take a couple of hours (possibly more), depending on the group and conditions - dress in layers, bring a snack, and wear good footwear. An email re: trail conditions to expect will be sent out prior to our hike together - expect that trail may still be a bit mucky in portions at that time of year. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled start time.
