Looking for a holiday de-stressor and a learning opportunity? Enjoy a ~7 km walk/hike to the Indigenous Medicine Garden located in the Albion Hills Conservation Park property. I’ll share what I have learned about the medicine garden while we enjoy the eclectic conservation area. Do dress for the weather, layer up, there are open areas and well treaded boots/hikers are a must. Bring your icers. We will follow the winter trail route and use the paved road as needed. Pack your personal items, meds, water, snacks/lunch. There are washrooms at meet up spot.
We will meet up at 9:45 AM in the parking lot closest to the chalet: Chalet Building, Albion, ON L7E 0M8.
NOTE: The park does have a entry parking fee https://trca.ca/parks/albion-hills-conservation-area/?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI1bSxteKnigMVzTMIBR0Clxb-EAAYASAAEgICJPD_BwE#park_title_350_5. If the fee prevents you from joining this hike, let me know and we can discuss possible alternatives.
