Join us for a fall exploration of pretty wooded and meadowland trails, local history and interesting geologic features as we hike the Black Creek side trail and main trail in Limehouse Conservation Area as well as the nearby Canada Goose side trail and main trail. Depending on interest we will finish our hike with the Todd Bardes Meadowland Trail. NB Since we will be connecting trails to form our loop we will have a short 1.5km road walk along the Canada Goose side trail.Make sure to bring a lunch as we will be stopping to eat. A litre of water and trail shoes/boots are a must!
This hike is suited to experienced hikers who are comfortable with a moderate to brisk pace and some challenging terrain that will include rocky scrambles, steep ladders, stiles and potentially some slippery muddy sections depending on weather. Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete your registration as the hike will depart at 8:30. See you there!

As the Autumn weather gathers momentum, let’s make the most of our Fall hiking days! Join us for a compact group of six PBTC side trails –Cottrill Lake, Anne and Clayton Roberts, Lillie Family, Lillie Family Pothole, Minhinnick, and Devil’s Monument Side Trails. This hike is quite varied and includes – a wetland view, gentle forest walk, and good examples of Niagara Escarpment geology – flowerpot, dolostone arch, and a glacial pothole. Be prepared for rocky and slippery conditions. Hiking poles are helpful. Wear layered clothing and bring rain gear. Pace will be leisurely to moderate and adjusted for slippery conditions, if needed. Hike the Great Esker Side Trail, the Trafalgar Side Trail, the Main Trail and other BT Side Trails.
The hike distance will be reduced if hiking conditions are poor. Dress appropriately for the weather and for slippery trail conditions and rocks. Bring food and water, hiking boots, and no dogs please.

Founded in 1962, Toronto Bruce Trail Club is 60 years young ! To celebrate its birth year and the first blaze painted on the Bruce Trail, the Club has launched the 60th Anniversary badge. We are going to do a series of three hikes for a total of 60+ km to earn this badge. If you are a badge hunter, or simply just want to enjoy a long hike along the Niagara Escarpment during this golden season, join us!Depart 9:30 am. Please arrive a bit early to give yourself enough time to get ready. Prepare to walk for around 6 hours with only a 15-minute lunch break. Hiking poles are highly recommended.

MEET at City View Park at the SECOND parking lot going south from Dundas St.- We will start at blue side trail from parking lot and cross Kerns Rd and hike Main trail through the well established trails of Waterdown Woods over King St.(Salamander alley in Spring) to Mountain Brow Rd.
We will take blue side trail to Smokey Hollow to view falls and have a snack/lunch break- We will go back mostly the same way towards Kerncliff Park . Bring water, snack/lunch, appropriate clothing-rain or shine unless storm conditions prevail.
